FOCO is a collaborative, MULTILINGUAL, GLOBAL portal devoted to ICT-enhanced foreign LANGUAGE instruction that fosters teaching excellence in any context and educational level, and for any target student population.

Any academic institution or teaching professional can collaborate with FOCO by submitting their best practices via the GET INVOLVED section of this website. Accepted submissions will be uploaded to the CATALOGUE OF BEST PRACTICES. Best practices are evaluated using the UNESCO quality criteria.

FOCO is one of the main deliverables of E-LENGUA, an EU-funded project carried out collaboratively by six European universities and one Egyptian university.

FOCO aims to accomplish a two-fold mission:

1) Sharing information on BEST PRACTICES in the use of information and communication technologies for the teaching of foreign languages;

2) Making this information available through an interactive database to all professionals who may be interested.
